High School Curriculum
The curriculum at C/A is structured to provide academic rigor and challenge for students in alignment with our college preparatory focus, while still providing the executive functioning support and differentiated instruction that students need.
High School students have a variety of courses from which to choose to fulfill credit and diploma requirements.
- Honors components are available in all English and History courses, most Science and Spanish courses, and some Math courses.
- C/A also offers AP Calculus AB and BC, AP Computer Programming and AP Physics
- Students who are interested in exploring a particular discipline in more depth can challenge themselves by earning a Diploma Certificate along with their Standard or Advanced Diploma.

Science: Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Anatomy, Environmental Science, Biochemistry
Languages*: Spanish I, Spanish II, Spanish III, Spanish IV (Honors), Latin (online)
PE/Health: PE includes a variety of sports, such as flag football, soccer, basketball, volleyball, floor hockey, whiffle ball, ultimate Frisbee, and others. Health topics relate to making healthy life choices.
Electives: Beginning Art, Advanced Art, Computer Programming I, Computer Programming II, Computer Programming III; Design I, Design II and Design III, Music, Psychology
* Students with a modern language waiver may substitute a sequence of approved computer programming and related courses
