At Commonwealth Academy, we are committed to the emotional, social, and intellectual development of our students by providing learning experiences related to technology and innovation.
The decisions we make regarding technology and innovation are rooted in the principle of using technology to enhance best practices in teaching and learning. We provide a device and platform agnostic environment where our students can learn to navigate all types of operating systems and hardware in order to ensure their ability to work with and on any type of tool. These skills will transfer to their experiences in post-secondary education and the workplace.
Our teachers use technology to foster our students’ creativity, design thinking, communication skills, research skills, and critical thinking. Students utilize technology in all of their classes safely and effectively to
- consume information
- create unique expressions of their learning
- practice being lifelong innovators.
Both students and teachers are encouraged to use assistive technology to tailor learning and to build good habits for now and the future.
Our edtech program is dynamic, forever growing, and relevant to today’s market. If you have any questions about our program, please contact a member of our team.
