High School Open House: Tue., October 15, 2019, 9:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
Middle School Open House: Tue., November 12, 2019, 9:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
Lower School Open House: Tue., December 10, 2019, 9:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
Our Open House program features a welcome from our Head of School and a brief presentation by the Director of the Lower School, Middle School, and High School Divisions. Parents will have the opportunity to ask questions of current students and parents and to take a school tour.
Commonwealth Academy serves average to gifted students, grades 3-12, who benefit from small classes and instruction designed to address various learning styles, including Executive Function challenges, ADHD, sensory integration disorders and dyslexia.
FAIRS & CONFERENCES
C/A participates in admissions events at local independent school fairs and conferences. Look for the Commonwealth Academy table at the following events:
Northern Virginia Life After 8th Grade High School Fair
What: Eighth-grade students and their parents will have the opportunity to talk to representatives from Commonwealth Academy and other independent schools, as well as day and boarding schools, coed and single-gender schools, Catholic and other denominational schools, small schools and huge schools, and traditional and less traditional schools.
When: Thursday, October 3, 2019, 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

2019 CHADD/NAMI ADHD and Mental Health Resource Fair
What: Knowing is better! That’s why ADHD Awareness Month is celebrated every October, with events and activities around the world. This year, CHADD Chapters are joining forces to present a Resource Fair for the benefit of all families in Virginia, District of Columbia, and Maryland. Look for the C/A table!

Exceptional Schools Fair
What: Sponsored by The American University School of Education, Teaching and Health, the Fair is designed to showcase schools and programs that will help children with diverse learning needs thrive, both academically and socially. Look for the C/A table!
When: Sunday, November 17, 2019, 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Cost: The Fair is free and open to the public. Free parking!
