If you graduated from C/A or are the parent of an alum, we hope you'll get in touch with us! Let us know what you're up to. Share info on what's changed at C/A since you graduated. What's still the same?
Our most recent C/A Alumni Event took place on Saturday, January 5, 2019. Thirteen alumni attended the Bowling Extravaganza in Fall Church.
Our alumni are proud to have graduated from Commonwealth Academy. In fact, several sent us Valentine messages for C/A's 20th Anniversary celebration.
The small class sizes created a comfortable learning environment that granted students more individual attention and encouraged us to ask questions.” C/A Alumnus, Class of 2007
And they always took the time to make sure I knew what I was learning by letting me come by for homework help during study hall.” C/A Alumna, Class of 2012
I loved how Commonwealth accommodated my needs and helped me get into such a great college! I would not be where I was today if it wasn’t for Commonwealth. Thank you for being the best school in this country, Commonwealth!" C/A Alumnus, Class of 2015
They went above and beyond. I still keep in contact with some of them to this day.” C/A Alumnus, Class of 2005
Without C/A, I don’t think I’d be where I am today and I am thankful to all my teachers, friends, and (administrators) for giving me the opportunity to be who I am and not what others wanted me to be.” C/A Alumna, Class of 2012
I love most the fact that because of how small the school is, kids have the chance to talk and be friends with other students who might be in different grades. (Something that I know quite well!) The school… makes you really think you could do anything you want to or choose any path once you leave the school! I have so many things to thank C/A for, and so glad this school was a part of my life!” C/A Alumna, Class of 2013
I love C/A so much! The whole community made you feel like you were never alone; that they would help you when you were down and always showed support and encouragement. Commonwealth taught me what it means to be kind to others, to always offer a helping hand and to achieve my highest potential.” C/A Alumna, Class of 2016
