C/A Fund

The C/A Fund supports the key educational initiatives that make a C/A education unique while also providing the resources for innovation and growth for C/A students, faculty, and programs.

Specifically, your contribution to the C/A Fund is an investment in three key areas of C/A which ensures that all C/A students experience one of the nation’s leading educational programs for students of average to gifted ability who have ADHD, executive functioning challenges, and mild learning differences, including:

1. Remaining at the Forefront of Differentiated Instruction, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion & Technological Innovation

C/A’s faculty are leaders in their field. The C/A Fund affords faculty the continued opportunity for ongoing professional development to ensure that they remain at the cutting edge of differentiated instructional practices. The C/A Fund also supports comprehensive professional development initiatives in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion which elevate the educational experience of all C/A students. Finally, the C/A Fund provides faculty the opportunity to continue to develop their expertise in STEM/STEAM, engineering, coding, and robotics.

2. Enhancing the Student Experience through Educational Trips

C/A’s proximity to Washington, DC offers C/A’s students ample opportunity to broaden their perspective and to engage in learning opportunities outside the classroom. The C/A Fund supports age-appropriate trips for all students to take advantage of the depth and breadth of educational opportunities available throughout the DC Metro Area and beyond.

3. Educational Technology

We live in a time of rapid technological change. The C/A Fund ensures that C/A remains at the forefront of educational technology both in support of differentiated instruction and in STEM/STEAM, engineering, coding, and robotics.
